About Me
Hello! I am Hamza Hameed. I am a Pakistani lawyer working as Senior Policy Manager for Satellite and Telecommunication at Access Partnership in Singapore. I am also the Chair of the Space Generation Advisory Council (SGAC).
Until July 2023, I worked as a Legal Consultant at the International Institute for the Unification of Private Law (UNIDROIT) in Rome, Italy where my primary focus was on secured transactions law and fintech. I worked on the Cape Town Convention and its Protocols, with a particular focus on spacecraft financing, as well as UNIDROIT’s project on Digital Assets and Private Law. I coordinated most of the activities of the Cape Town Convention Academic Project and was the Manager for fundraising and Administration at the UNIDROIT Foundation.
I hold an LLB from the University of London International Programme and an Advanced LLM degree in Air and Space Law from the International Institute for Air and Space Law at Leiden University. I am practicing lawyer in Pakistan with the Law Firm of Abraiz Ali Khan. I am also a Member of the International Institute for Space Law and INSOL International.
